Year 25/26

This year will see more site works involving the reinstatement of paving stones and clearing of parking area gullies and block paving’s. Site lighting will also be updated and repaired where necessary, two poles have been hit by vehicles and need reinstatement.

A Defibrillator will be installed at the side of Unit 8 which is central to the Village and full instructions will be sent out.

More ground works will take place involving the cutting back of shrubs and thinning out of trees around the perimeter of the site.

Units 1 -8 now have their waste collected by Biffa under a contract that has resulted in substantial savings. Storage of the bins will be reinstated and improved to allow easy access, but, this will only take place if All units agree. Two areas are proposed Units 9-12 and Edge View House to be sited where the original bin store was and Units 17 – 22 which will be in the adapted, original Bin Store. The Units will have a general waste and Recycling Bin supplied. We propose to Invoice for the annual charge per unit as soon as the contract starts.

You will need to inform Oldham MBC that you wish to terminate the waste collection by March as the new contract with the council will start in April 2025. The costs per unit for 24/25 came in at approx. £90.00 + VAT for the year. Oldham MBC are charging £43 a month for their facility.
